Graphs
showing results of statistical analysis on CA marks and ESA
marks can be seen by clicking on View graphs button given
below.
Bar charts representing averages of internal assessment marks,
averages of university marks, co-variance of internal assessment
marks, co-variance of university marks and co-efficient of
correlation are shown for each college and branch.
Abbreviated college names are shown below the corresponding
group of bar charts. Set of graphs corresponding to a course
will be displayed by clicking on the course displayed at the
bottom of the page.
How
can we judge Valuation Effectiveness?
Good
assessment
|
1) Same values of co-variance in respect of Internal
Assessment(or Continous Assessment)
and University Assessment (End Semester
Assessment)indicates good assessment.
2) High value of correlation coefficient indicates
good assessment.
3) Smaller difference between Means of Internal
Assessment and University Assessment
coupled with higher value of correlation
coefficient indicates good assessment.
|
Poor
assessment
|
1)
If correlation coefficient is negative.
2)
If difference between co-variance is more.
3)
If mean of Internal Assessment is less than that of
University Assessment and correlation
coefficient is less.
